TYRANT WRESTLING TOURNAMENT WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
In consideration of being allowed to participate or attend any Tyrant Wrestling Tournament, the undersigned participant and participant’s legal guardian acknowledges, appreciates, authorizes, understands, consents, and agrees to the following conditions and terms:
ASSUMPTION OF RISK: I understand that wrestling is a physical contact sport that involves risks, including but not limited to, serious bodily injury, paralysis, skin infection, permanent disability, and even death. I understand that injuries may arise from physical exertion, falls, collisions, or contact with other participants, attendants, or objects. I hereby voluntarily assume all such risks, known and unknown, associated with participation or attendance at or in any Tournament.
RELEASE and WAIVER OF LIABILITY: I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Tyrant Wrestling, all sponsors, promoters, affiliates, coaches, referees, and any other individuals or entities involved in organizing or running any Tournament (collectively “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, or liability of any kind arising out of or related to my participation or attendance in or at any Tournament, including any claims arising from the negligence of the Released Parties.
CONSENT TO MEDICAL TREATMENT: I consent to receive any medical treatment deemed necessary in the event of injury, accident, or illness during a Tournament. I understand and accept full financial responsibility for any medical treatment provided to me.
PHOTOGRAPHY and VIDEO RELEASE: I understand that photographs and/or video recordings may be taken during the tournament. I grant Tyrant Wrestling and their designees permission to use my image, likeness, and voice in any promotional, advertising, or other media without compensation or additional approval.
INDEMNIFICATION: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, expenses, and attorney’s fees arising out of or related to my participation in the Tournament, including, but not limited to, any claims resulting from my own actions, conduct, or negligence.
COMPLIANCE TO TOURNAMENT RULES: I agree to follow all Tournament rules and regulations. I understand that failure to comply with the Tournament rules will result in removal from the tournament without any refund or right to return to the Tournament.
CHOICE OF LAW: This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware without regard to its conflict of law principles. The parties agree that any disputes arising from or related to this release and waiver shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the State of Delaware.
